Motivation for the APP and the way to Work Life Organized

Before I go into the positive influence of the APP on your life, I would like to briefly describe how the app came about in the first place.

I've been looking for a suitable app for a long time to map my everyday life and visualize goals. I also make a lot of notes on my cell phone that are not in any order. All of this should have a common place. But I couldn't find an app that made it possible for me. At least not in the form I wanted it to be.

Other planning apps or organizers often seemed cumbersome to set up and use. It almost felt like you needed a tutorial to really understand these apps; and in the course of understanding and getting to know the apps, I missed various features that I would have liked to have seen in order to basically store my life inside of an app. And that's why I gave up. AND

I was absolutely convinced to bring out my own organizer app that maps your life as well as possible. I mean your everyday life, various errands or small tasks. In addition, routines that can make up your everyday life and form a positive constant (because of course it is about meaningful routines, such as: sports, reading and other things that tend to fall short sometimes). It is also the aim of the App to map your goals and to pursue projects. And to keep a journal or just quickly jot down thoughts when they surprise you and resemble a flash of inspiration. I often find written down thoughts in my projects or goals, and thus they provide some creative stimulation and motivation to work out projects and define goals.

The name: Work Life Organized

It often seemed to me, when I was still unsystematically typing notes into my cell phone, that my notes (or simply thoughts) differed fundamentally in one thing. On the one hand, they are "work-related", hereby this could be anything from hypothetical business ideas (e.g. this app - no longer hypothetical), career planning, or certain skills that I would like to learn.

On the other hand, there is basically life, detached from career stress and, in terms of time, often after 9 am-5pm, if you will. It is primarily about yourself, your well-being - mentally and physically. Also, or especially in this area, there are goals and an intrinsic responsibility to find a positive balance that allows satisfaction and confidence. That is the reason for the name (combination of work and life) and an important characteristic within the app. Each entry can be classified as personal (Life) or professional (Work).

The app is intended to serve as a digital memory that represents an archive of your life and yourself as a person. In order to be able to orientate yourself in this digital memory or archive and to be able to find "memories" or basically entries, you can filter and sort within each feature (e.g. tasks) according to "personal" and "professional". So you always know in which of these areas you have done what or what you are planning on doing. There is also a search function in the dashboard, where you can find each entry using a search term. Of course, you can also assign each entry to a group that you can create yourself. One group that I created early on was Sports. So if I make an entry that goes in this direction, I also select the Sports category. These categories also help you to navigate again within a sub-area, or to create basic order, and to see more at a glance or with a quick click.
